Beef and Caramelized Onion Penne Bake

1: In a large pan over medium high heat, add 2 Tbsp olive oil and beef. Once beef is browned, add onions, garlic, and red pepper flakes.

2: Sauté until fragrant. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.

3: Then add Rao’s Homemade Caramelized Onion sauce and let simmer for 10 minutes. Salt and pepper to taste.

4: Fill a large pot with water and boil Rao’s Homemade Penne until al dente.

5: Add pasta to the pan with beef and Rao’s Homemade Caramelized Onion Sauce and mix.

6: Add in basil and parmesan cheese and mix until just combined.

7: Add pasta & meat sauce to a high rimmed casserole dish.

8: Then add a layer of mozzarella cheese on top.

9: Bake for 25 minutes at 375°F until cheese is melted.

10: Top with parsley and enjoy!
